Liquid Releases

Partall Coverall Film is a water-based polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) coating comprised of solvent resistant, film-forming materials. Once dry, the PVA film is resistant to solvents in the resin system and used to make composite parts but is soluble in water. Available in gallon, quart, and a pint. Manufactured by Rexco. 

Garalease 915 is a film-forming barrier coat that serves as both a sealer and a release agent. It is a fast-drying parting compound and the film it forms comes away with the molded part. When sufficiently thick, the film may be peeled or blown off with a jet of air. Manufactured by Lilly Ram.

Partall #10 is a water and alcohol-based polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) coating comprised of solvent-resistant materials. Once dry, PVA film is resistant to solvents in the resin system used to make composite parts but is soluble in water. It is recommended as a parting agent for polyester, vinyl ester, or epoxy resins and may be used with most thermoset resins.

Kantstik CureFast 1.0 is a second-generation, fast curing, two coat semi-permanent release system that combines the sealer and release agent into one product. Kantstik CureFast 1.0 will effectively seal the pores on both new and reconditioned tooling while providing multiple releases when fabricating with thermoset resins. Manufactured by SPC.

This product is silicone-free, heat stable, non-carbonizing release agent. The heat-cured film of MR225 does not usually transfer or migrate, so that painting, finishing, bonding or other secondary processing steps may be accomplished on molded parts without further treatment. MR225 is thermally stable up to 900°F. Manufactured by Lilly Ram.

Plastilease Liquid Wax offers you the utmost in mold release factors either with accelerated heat (exotherm), low heat or room temperature. It is a blend of synthetic waxes and polymers which are not subject to the quality fluctuations so often found in natural waxes, depending on their origin.

Plastilease 512B is a water/alcohol solution of polyvinyl alcohol resins (PVA). It is used to release polyester resins, especially where wax or silicone contamination of the part is to be avoided. The film it produces serves as insurance against part hang-up, particularly for newly fabricated molds.

Spray wax solution is a light-duty, liquid wax release agent. It is formulated with natural waxes to reduce the tendency of fisheyes. It is fast drying, easy to apply and buffs to a high polish.
