  • Description: Surfacing Agent is a wax-containing clear liquid formulation designed for use with either gel coats or resins to reduce air sensitivity and inhibition. The Surfacing Agent will migrate or "bloom" to the exposed surface of the laminate or casting to create a thin film that prevents air contact with the resin. Allow cure to take place.
  • Special Handling Fee: This item is considered hazardous in volumes greater than gallon sizes and will include a special handling fee when ordered in individual units with volumes greater than a gallon. If shipped by air, this item will always require a special handling fee, regardless of volume.

Application Suggestion:

Add 2-4% by weight of the Surfacing agent to any standard gel coat. Due to varying application methods and environmental conditions, each finished surface should be tested using a solvent wipe to check for color removal. Add a flatting filler to this mixture if a lower gloss is desired.
